Audrey passed peacefully this morning 11.25.25 around 2am. Audrey's ongoing battle with a rare form of cancer has ended. While there were many wonderful memories, there were hard days mixed in. Audrey fought hard, remained strong and had the sweetest spirit and attitude through it all.

It is difficult to understand why Audrey endured all that she had to endure during her almost 10 years of life. We know that she taught many just by her actions and loving nature.

Audrey rarely complained and loved many things about life. She was organized, had a keen eye for design, loved cats, Calico Critters, she enjoyed school and being with her friends, even excelling at academics despite her schedule of chemotherapy, radiation, and medical procedures. Audrey loved her family and friends, drawing, crafting, swimming, being in nature, the beach, her cat Coco, organizing doll houses, and going to church. Audrey enjoyed her church family and was comfortable there. She professed the Lord as her savior and was at peace with passing.

We can rejoice in the victory Audrey has in Christ Jesus. She is made whole and is now experiencing perfect peace and love with her Savior, Jesus. Death has lost its sting, the grip of cancer has lost its hold.

We Walk By Faith

Audrey is continuing to hold on with the strength that is left. She is tired, weak and sleeps most of the time. We can continue to praise God she has no pain. Audrey has her routine, though most of it consists of sleeping. She enjoys a little chocolate milk, a yogurt smoothie, some applesauce and maybe some small bites of food here and there. With that said, eating and drinking is becoming more difficult, but Audrey manages with some assistance and help. Benjamin, Hannah and Emma continue to do well with this season we are in. They display loving hearts, asking if Audrey needs anything, praying for her and just sitting near her. Eternal Perspective

We have officially returned from Michigan and we were incredibly thankful for this time together as a family. Overall Audrey had a good time. Audrey has dealt with some bleeding over the last few weeks around the tumor site. We have added some medical intervention, which seems to help. She is also dealing with some difficulty sleeping. Hospice care will now make weekly visits with the advancement of the tumor. Audrey's overall energy has decreased quite significantly over the last week. She still enjoys order and her schedule :) Audrey is still pain free, so we can rejoice in that. She is eating and drinking normally, another praise. We are fixing are minds and hearts on Christ Jesus, remembering this is all very temporary. Death is something we will all experience and for those who know and love Jesus as the personal savior will experience the ultimate peace in eternity with Him. He is With You

About a month has passed since our last update-Audrey continues to do well despite daily challenges. The cancer is continuing to spread, unfortunately this is something we can see visually. The tumor is now covering nearly her entire left eye and continues to grow outward. Audrey has not complained to this day. Her strength is inspiring to say the least. Audrey will have another nasal endoscopy this upcoming Tuesday. We are thankful this will likely relieve her sinuses. We are still under the impression nothing can be done externally. Palliative care has visited to simply put eyes on Audrey. We have been incredibly thankful she continues to have no pain. We have even visited with a social worker who has helped make a meaningful craft to build memories. Audrey continues to play outside, make beautiful drawings, go on walks, rest with Coco, read books on the couch, play Zelda and Mario Cart with her sisters and the list goes on. SO thankful for that.
