This summer has proved to be a blessing in many ways. The Lord has blessed us with some amazing trips! We started off the summer with a trip to North Myrtle Beach. This has been our third trip to the same area. The boys found some incredible shark's teeth, we swam, made some friends, ate great food, and above all had family time without interruptions. It was a sweet memory for us all, remembering our time spent with Audrey at the beach. We enjoyed sharing memories of Audrey during our family walks in the evening.
We enjoyed a two night stay at Lake Hope with some of our friends. The were plenty of crafts, food, hikes, and an evening of worship together around a fire. We were again, blessed by these memories.
Lastly, we made our way up to Michigan with our good friends. The place were we stay carries many memories for us as family; this was a our fourth summer there. While it was hard without Audrey, each day we found solace in knowing that she is loved by her Savior, Jesus Christ. We no longer have her physical presence, but we have peace because of Him.
Some of Audrey's teachers where she attended school, graciously organized a team for the Nationwide Children's Half Marathon, this fall 2026. This is a way to demonstrate support for the many people who cared for Audrey at the children's hospital, honor Audrey's memory, and provide funds for a wonderful hospital that cares for children who need specialized care. We are thankful to the staff at Northmor who have poured their hearts and time into this opportunity.
Thank you again for reading. We have appreciated all who have supported us over the past 7 years. Your love and care is a true testament of the fruit that only come from our Lord and Savior.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
