Immeasurably More

 Immeasurably More- By: Rend Collective

More than all we ask
Than all we seek
All our hopes and dreams
You are immeasurably more
Than we can know
Than we can pray
All our words can say
You are immeasurably more

[Chorus]
There's nothing greater than Your love
You're more than we can imagine
There's nothing sweeter on this earth
You're more than we can imagine
Our hearts respond to who You are
It's You, oh Lord, that we adore

[Post-Chorus]
You are more, You are more
You're more than we can imagine
You are more, You are more
You're more than we can imagine

[Verse 2]
More than all our sin
Than all our shame
Stronger than the grave
You are immeasurably more
I can't help but sing
Can't help but praise
My heart can not contain
You are immeasurably more

Audrey is continuing to display strength and endurance despite her circumstances. She continues to have her own routine, which brings comfort to her day. Her overall health continues to decline. Not much food or drink intake, but manages to still enjoy some fruit, chocolate milk, and occasional yogurt drink and maybe some turkey. She has very little energy, but is still generally independent. We enjoy sitting with Audrey, reading to her, being near her, maybe a back scratch or a little game of charades (guessing what Emma acts out). Audrey enjoys a calm afternoon tucked in on the couch with her heating pad on her feet and Coco (our cat) on her lap.

Continuing to cling to the Lord's promises. He has overcome the world. Jesus in King! He is RISEN! Thankful for the hope we have in Him <3

Thank you again for your prayers, support and generosity. We are humbled and incredibly grateful for the support of our family, friends and community. How blessed to walk in this season with that.

Eternal Perspective

We have officially returned from Michigan and we were incredibly thankful for this time together as a family. Overall Audrey had a good time. Audrey has dealt with some bleeding over the last few weeks around the tumor site. We have added some medical intervention, which seems to help. She is also dealing with some difficulty sleeping. Hospice care will now make weekly visits with the advancement of the tumor. Audrey's overall energy has decreased quite significantly over the last week. She still enjoys order and her schedule :)  Audrey is still pain free, so we can rejoice in that. She is eating and drinking normally, another praise. We are fixing are minds and hearts on Christ Jesus, remembering this is all very temporary. Death is something we will all experience and for those who know and love Jesus as the personal savior will experience the ultimate peace in eternity with Him.  It is important to us as followers of Christ that we highlight this truth because we have...

He is With You

About a month has passed since our last update-Audrey continues to do well despite daily challenges. The cancer is continuing to spread, unfortunately this is something we can see visually. The tumor is now covering nearly her entire left eye and continues to grow outward. Audrey has not complained to this day. Her strength is inspiring to say the least.  Audrey will have another nasal endoscopy this upcoming Tuesday. We are thankful this will likely relieve her sinuses. We are still under the impression nothing can be done externally. Palliative care has visited to simply put eyes on Audrey. We have been incredibly thankful she continues to have no pain. We have even visited with a social worker who has helped make a meaningful craft to build memories. Audrey continues to play outside, make beautiful drawings, go on walks, rest with Coco, read books on the couch, play Zelda and Mario Cart with her sisters and the list goes on. SO thankful for that. We have decided to pursue ...

Jesus remains the same 💛

On June 17th, we learned that the cancer Audrey has been battling for 5 years remains, this is after 2 years of chemo, 2 courses of radiation and local surgeries to remove it.  At this point her team has said there are no curative options. Chemotherapy and radiation could possibly slow the process down, but would likely pose more issues than help. Another extensive surgery could also slow down the process, but would only further complicate Audrey's eye and nose issues. We have decided to let Audrey enjoy life without intense medical intervention. We have had some tough decisions these last few weeks, and have cried tears, but have also been at peace with the fact Audrey's faith in Christ is strong. She has even spoken about heaven and our perfect bodies 💛 Audrey has been full of energy, playing, eating well and enjoying life as an 8 year old. While we don't know exactly what the future holds or the timeline, we will rest in the fact that Jesus is the same yesterday, today ...
