We have officially returned from Michigan and we were incredibly thankful for this time together as a family. Overall Audrey had a good time. Audrey has dealt with some bleeding over the last few weeks around the tumor site. We have added some medical intervention, which seems to help. She is also dealing with some difficulty sleeping. Hospice care will now make weekly visits with the advancement of the tumor. Audrey's overall energy has decreased quite significantly over the last week. She still enjoys order and her schedule :)
Audrey is still pain free, so we can rejoice in that. She is eating and drinking normally, another praise. We are fixing are minds and hearts on Christ Jesus, remembering this is all very temporary. Death is something we will all experience and for those who know and love Jesus as the personal savior will experience the ultimate peace in eternity with Him.
It is important to us as followers of Christ that we highlight this truth because we have this opportunity through a rather difficult season, to display where our strength comes from-from the Lord. We give all glory to Jesus, who has and is walking closely with us. Rejoicing in each day and focusing on an eternal perspective.
Matthew 16:24
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Thank you again for praying.
