Audrey had another chemo infusion today. She continues to do very well with it all.
Audrey will have another infusion next Monday. On her week off, Monday, May 2nd, Audrey will have her cataract surgery done down at Children's. Our prayer is that the surgery would allow for better vision in her left eye. She will have about a week off of school after the surgery and a several weeks healing process, as well as lots of eye drops. We are thankful this surgery is an option for her and will ultimately only help her.
We were able to celebrate Jesus and His resurrection this past weekend at church and with family. The kids always enjoy seeing their cousins!
Thank you again for praying. We are often reminded by so many that Audrey is being lifted up in prayer by those we know personally, but also by many we don't know. So thank you. While we are going through a difficult journey, we are continue to be filled with peace.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
