Wonderfully Made

Audrey continues to display happiness and joy. Her bravery and strength is evident and she has been doing so well sitting still and completing each radiation treatment. We see how God's strength is reflected in Audrey.  We are fearfully and wonderfully made despite disease, physical challenges and the list goes on. Even though we are enduring tough things, we see God's goodness everywhere. He has provided in so many ways through so many people. We were listening to a JJ Heller song, and she said something along the lines of, it isn't my fault that she is hungry, but it is my joy to make sure she is fed. We are all gifted in some way. We pray God would use your gifts to display his love, ultimately glofiying him and bringing more people home. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;   your works are wonderful,   I know that full well. Psalm 139:14

Settling In

Audrey had her first radiation treatment this afternoon. Everything went well. Audrey adds a sticker to a calendar for each session completed, so 1 down, 27 to go. Also, thank you again to all of you who prayed over Audrey today. We really appreciate it.  "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20  We are continuing to settle into our new "home." The kids are becoming more comfortable with the space. Thankful making it down here safely and  continuing to make memories.

Hope In Jesus

Audrey has been back to school and continues to enjoy it! The other day we were thanking God for Audrey's love to learn. Also, Audrey's physician told us that her MRI looks good! Praise God for this! We continue to put our hope in Jesus. He conquered all things and we put our trust in Him and find our strength in Him. Even when things are tough or insurmountable, we know we can rest in the fact that by grace we have been saved through faith...it is the gift of God (Eph. 2:8-9). We live in this fallen world, but the best is yet to come, eternal life with our heavenly father for all who confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:9-10. Thank you again for praying for us and praying specifically over Audrey. We are very appreciative.

Milestone

Yesterday morning Audrey had another round of chemo. Everything went smooth, her lab work looked good overall, however, her hemoglobin is getting in the lower range so there is a potential she will need blood in the next week. With that said, she has had an upset belly. Mainly she just says her belly doesn't feel good. She is still eating really well, which is something we can celebrate. This morning, Audrey had her first head/neck MRI without sedation. This is a huge milestone for Audrey and we are thankful she is at a point where she can do this. It allows her to eat in the morning before these procedures and of course need less medical intervention. The next steps, will be packing up this weekend to head down to Cincinnati on Monday, January 17th. Her first day of proton radiation will be Tuesday, January 18th. You can join us in praying for her 1.18.22 at 1:00 p.m. over the radiation for the next several weeks We of course continue to put our faith and trust in God. Christ dwel...

Another one down

Audrey left this morning for another round of chemotherapy. Her lab work looked good, so we thank God for that. She had a CT this morning in preparation for radiation therapy. All went well and Audrey continues to be in good spirits!  The plan is for Audrey to go back to school tomorrow. She is looking forward to getting back to see her teacher and friends. Next up will be another chemo infusion Monday, January 10th. Audrey has another MRI scheduled for Tuesday, January 11th in the morning. This time the plan is to complete it without anesthesia! We appreciate your prayers over this.  We will be heading down to Cincinnati on Sunday, January 16th. The plan is to be down there until late February.  We cannot express how our faith in God changes everything. We know Jesus has conquered the world and we have peace in that. While we may have trials, we can find our strength in Christ Jesus. This is a process and we are thankful for how God shows us his faithfulness through it a...
